The Bahabad Solar Power Plant, as one of the strategic projects of Ghadir Energy Company (one of the leading holdings in Iran's energy industry), is a successful example of the synergy of domestic experts and leading global technologies.
The design of this power plant uses a combination of the world's best equipment, including Trina Solar panels and Sungrow inverters, both brands ranking first in the global market.
The electrical design of this project has been done in a string format; this design method effectively manages common operational risks in tropical regions, including the possibility of fire, by reducing the volume of DC cabling, in addition to reducing energy losses.
The Bahabad Power Plant is currently successfully connected to the national grid and plays an effective role in providing stable electricity and overcoming the summer peak load.
In addition to contributing to the sustainability of the country's electricity grid, this project is a practical response to the requirements of Article 16 of the Law on the Leap of Knowledge-Based Production and the Move Towards Sustainable Development.
We hope that by utilizing such projects, the share of renewable energies in Iran's energy portfolio will increase day by day.
